Update: Extensive damage at Thwaites Eastern Ice Shelf.

The ocean is still open in front of Thwaites Glacier in Antarctica. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that sea ice will form soon, providing stability by buttressing the marine extension of the vulnerable glacier in the Amundsen Sea Embayment of West Antarctica. 

I will share updated news on Antarctica at a later date.
